Software Engineer (Backend)

You will be a part of a growing, innovative team and will work closely with the development and product management teams innovating to enhance our existing software and develop new products. In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that leverage .NET technologies and Azure Cloud services, having the opportunity to contribute to core features, and innovating the product within established frameworks.

What you will do: 

• Design and implement complex backend solutions using .NET, ASP.NET, and .NET Core, focusing on scalability, security, and maintainability in high-impact areas 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, contribute to system architecture discussions, and propose technical solutions 

• Develop scalable and reliable cloud-native applications on the Azure Cloud Platform, under the guidance of experienced engineers 

• Follow best practices for security, performance, and reliability in software development and cloud architecture 

• Write clean, well-structured code following established coding standards and practices 

• Participate in code reviews, absorb feedback, and continuously improve coding skills 

• Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software development and cloud computing 

• Identify and proactively resolve technical challenges to continuously evolve how products are engineered at Intapp and prevent the occurrence of production incidents 

• Work in a hybrid office environment (minimum 3 days at the office) 

What you will need:

• Proven track record working with .NET technologies, such as C# and ASP.NET (typically 4+ years of hands-on experience).

• Prior experience architecting resilient systems that leverage microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated monitoring, focusing on performance optimization.

• Advanced understanding of relational databases (e.g. SQL Server), with experience in high-performance data architecture for cloud applications.

• Experience with Azure or other major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud)

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD automation tools (such as Jenkins and Git), along with robust knowledge of containerization and orchestration.

• Fluent in English.
