POSITION SUMMARY 

As a Staff Technical Program Manager at Empower, you will drive business transformation through strategic project management, ensuring the alignment of IT initiatives with our hyper-growth goals. You will harness AI's capabilities to accelerate project delivery, enhance quality, and enable data-driven decision-making. Your role involves end-to-end ownership of projects within our regulated 503A/503B environment, demanding strategic thinking and execution rigor. You will lead cross-functional teams while fostering learning agility. By integrating AI, you will amplify impact, scale operations, and maintain compliance, positioning Empower at the forefront of healthcare innovation. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Program Leadership 

  • Strategic Execution: Lead complex technology programs from planning through delivery, aligning objectives, dependencies, resources, and outcomes with business priorities. Apply AI enabled forecasting, prioritization, and workflow automation to improve delivery speed, quality, transparency, and decision making while ensuring execution rigor, stakeholder alignment, and measurable business impact.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Build trusted partnerships across business, technology, quality, and operations functions to drive informed decisions and shared accountability. Leverage AI generated insights, performance indicators, and scenario analysis to communicate risks, opportunities, and tradeoffs, ensuring alignment across multiple workstreams within a fast growing regulated environment.
  • Roadmap Governance: Coordinate multi track initiatives, external dependencies, vendors, and cross functional teams to deliver strategic outcomes. Establish governance mechanisms, decision frameworks, and AI supported reporting that improve visibility, accelerate issue resolution, and maintain alignment between program objectives, compliance obligations, and organizational priorities. 

Technology Strategy 

  • Innovation EnablementIdentify emerging technologies and scalable solutions that advance operational performance and business growth. Use AI driven analysis to evaluate opportunities, assess value, and support adoption strategies that enhance efficiency, strengthen competitiveness, and enable sustainable execution across evolving enterprise capabilities.
  • Technical Partnership: Contribute informed perspectives to architecture, design, and implementation discussions by translating business requirements into actionable technical direction. Apply AI enhanced analytics and knowledge tools to evaluate alternatives, accelerate decisions, reduce uncertainty, and improve delivery outcomes across complex technology initiatives.
  • Resource Optimization: Maximize program effectiveness through disciplined planning, capacity management, and data informed allocation strategies. Utilize AI powered forecasting and productivity insights to optimize resources, reduce waste, improve throughput, and maintain high quality deliverables while supporting compliance and operational excellence objectives. 

Risk and Performance Management 

  • Risk MitigationEstablish proactive risk management practices that identify, assess, and address program threats before they impact outcomes. Leverage AI enabled monitoring, predictive analytics, and trend detection to strengthen resilience, support regulatory readiness, and maintain program momentum across changing business conditions.
  • Performance Analytics: Define meaningful success metrics and monitor program health through AI enhanced dashboards, reporting, and performance reviews. Transform operational data into actionable insights that improve decision making, drive continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Continuous ImprovementChampion a culture of learning, accountability, and operational excellence across programs and teams. Apply AI supported process analysis to identify improvement opportunities, streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and increase delivery effectiveness while sustaining adaptability in a high growth environment. 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 

  • Proficient in project management methodologies and AI integration, fostering innovation and efficiency in IT projects.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on execution rigor and organizational alignment.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, utilizing AI-driven insights for informed decision-making.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical program management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. 
  • Experience in integrating AI into project management processes to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
