The Field Service Technician for Radiometer is responsible for supporting the needs of our customers, which directly impacts patient health and overall well-being.

This position reports to the Service Team Lead and is part of the Field Service organization and works remotely and in the Repair Depot in Mississauga to cover the Ontario Territory

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Install, repair, calibrate, clean and test instruments using logical troubleshooting procedures in a timely manner.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships. Review solutions with customers; discuss needs and ensure a safe operation situation.
• Maintain a field parts inventory, testing devices and tools. Maintain clean and safe working environment at the customer site, company vehicle, and Depot Repair Area

The essential requirements of the job include: 

• Technical Associates Degree OR Electronic Technology Diploma OR equivalent military experience (working on any mechanical, technical, laboratory, pneumatic or any related instruments.)
• 1+ year of Field Service Engineer or related experience – prefer medical field – basic troubleshooting experience in: electromechanical, networking or IT system upgrades.
• Must be authorized to travel to the US for training.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• This position requires flying and/or driving travel, which may potentially include up to 70% overnight stays.  Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50 lbs. unassisted.  Ability to stand, walk (prolonged), and sit; squat and kneel, ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

• Proficiency with analyzer network/connectivity setup and support directly to Laboratory Information System/Health Care Information systems.
• Preferred Comp TI A+ certification.
• Fluency in French, including the ability to read, write, and converse professionally.

The annual salary range for this role is CAD$70,000.00 - $75,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
