Power BI Developer

Role: Power BI Developer
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 6+months (with a possibility of extension)
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Work Hours: Primarily IST, but do need 2-3 hours to overlap with CST for morning standups with US counterparts.
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in India)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade business intelligence solutions. This role requires deep expertise in data modeling, visualization, and performance tuning, along with strong stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Lead end-to-end BI lifecycle
• Architect data models using best practices
• Optimize performance and data refresh
• Collaborate with business stakeholders
• Mentor junior developers and enforce standards

Data Modeling & Integration
• Build complex models using SQL and cloud data sources
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines
• Ensure data quality and governance

Advanced Analytics & DAX
• Create advanced DAX calculations
• Implement RLS and security
• Deliver actionable insights

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• 6+ years BI experience
• Strong SQL and Power BI expertise
• Experience with Azure data services

Preferred Qualifications
• Enterprise BI experience
• Data warehousing knowledge
• CI/CD pipelines
• Microsoft certifications (PL-300)
