Job description

Our Client, a Mass Media and Entertainment company, is looking for a Tax Analyst III for their Remote location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Will be a combination of project work related to the Delaware and Oregon VDA
  • Interaction with Accounts Payable during various pay cycles to troubleshoot problems within our systems.
  • Interaction with 3rd Party Escheatment Firm.
  • Running Pay Cycles daily.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
 
Requirements:
  • Detail Oriented
  • Accuracy of filings; Deadline oriented; Ability to speak to filing approach.
  • Ability to communicate with Key Stakeholders (internal and 3rd Party – consulting, tax, legal)
  • Experience managing partnerships; gathering and meeting expectations with stakeholders.
  • Project Management Experience
  • Managing deadlines; multi-tasking.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP preferred
  • Experience with Peoplesoft ERP preferred
  • Management experience is preferred
  • Experience supporting audit and other SOX and internal control requirements and working with third party auditors preferred
  • Escheatment reporting and filing or oversight of third party performing this activity.
  • 1099 preparation, distribution, and filing, including corrections
  • Customer Service and support, preferably in Accounts Payable
  • Procure to Pay, tax or accounting
  • Experience with full cycle accounts payable processes
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable principles, practices, regulations and procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must have high level of accuracy and be detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage deadlines and complete deliverables accurately in advance of tight deadlines
  • Must be a team player with a positive outlook
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Solid written and verbal communication skips
  • Experience working for a global corporation
  • Experience with a state voluntary unclaimed property audit, preferably Delaware.
