Description

The SVP of Marketing is responsible for leading the full marketing function at engage2learn, with a strong emphasis on product marketing, go-to-market strategy, and revenue alignment. This role owns the strategy and execution of all marketing efforts to drive pipeline growth, product adoption, brand positioning, and market expansion.

This leader will serve as the primary connector between Product, Sales, and Marketing, ensuring that e2L’s offerings are clearly positioned, effectively brought to market, and consistently translated into revenue outcomes. The SVP of Marketing will partner closely with Sales leadership to align on pipeline generation, sales enablement, and conversion strategy, while also driving deep understanding of customer needs within the K-12 education space.

Responsibilities

Marketing & Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company growth goals and revenue targets.
  • Own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy across all products and services, including segmentation, positioning, pricing support, and channel strategy.
  • Define and refine e2L’s overall brand narrative and product positioning within the K-12 education market.
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify growth opportunities, new markets, and expansion strategies.
  • Translate company strategy into actionable marketing plans with clear KPIs tied to pipeline and revenue.

Product Marketing Leadership

  • Own product marketing strategy and execution across the entire organization.
  • Develop clear, differentiated messaging and positioning for products, tailored to multiple stakeholders (district leaders, educators, partners).
  • Lead product launches and releases, ensuring alignment across marketing, sales, and delivery teams.
  • Establish and manage the full customer journey—from awareness through adoption and retention.
  • Gather and synthesize customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform product and marketing strategy.
  • Partner closely with Product leadership to ensure market needs are reflected in product development and innovation.

Sales Partnership & Revenue Enablement

  • Serve as a strategic partner to Sales leadership, aligning marketing efforts to pipeline generation, deal progression, and revenue outcomes.
  • Build and execute demand generation strategies that drive qualified leads and measurable pipeline growth.
  • Lead sales enablement efforts, including development of playbooks, messaging frameworks, and sales collateral.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and sales priorities, improving conversion rates and sales effectiveness.
  • Support forecasting and pipeline visibility through strong collaboration with sales and operations teams.

Demand Generation & Brand Growth

  • Oversee demand generation campaigns, digital marketing, content strategy, events, and partnerships.
  • Drive brand awareness and thought leadership within the K-12 education sector.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and brand experience across all channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance using data-driven insights.

Data, Insights & Performance

  • Establish clear marketing KPIs tied to pipeline, conversion, and revenue impact.
  • Analyze campaign performance, customer engagement, and market trends to continuously improve strategy.
  • Build reporting mechanisms that connect marketing activities to business outcomes.
  • Partner with operations and systems teams to ensure accurate tracking and visibility across marketing and sales funnels.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear goals and performance expectations aligned with company objectives.
  • Build organizational capability in product marketing, demand generation, and go-to-market execution.


Requirements

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience
  • Proven experience in product marketing, go-to-market strategy, and sales enablement
  • Demonstrated success driving pipeline growth and revenue impact through marketing
  • Experience partnering closely with sales teams in a revenue-driven organization
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, positioning, and messaging strategy
  • Experience in K-12 education and/or EdTech strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Employment Details

  • This is a full-time, exempt position.
  • This is a remote position.
  • Standard work hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. CT with additional hours as necessary.
  • Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
  • 401K, Health Insurance plan benefits offered.
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required.
