Position Summary
The Programs & Engagement Specialist supports TechForce's technician-engagement work by owning the day-to-day execution of marketing programs and engagement in-kind contests, the Techs Rock Awards, Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions, and in-person events including Tech Feud. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for running programs end to end: coordinating partners and logistics, managing contest lifecycles, securing prizes through targeted outreach, and delivering every program accurately and on time. The Specialist works closely alongside the Social & Digital Marketing Strategist to support wrap-around services and influencer logistics, and reports to the VP, Marketing & Technology.

In-Kind Contests & Acquisition: Run the full contest lifecycle (setup, gear-up, partner coordination, launch, monitoring, selecting and calling winners, collecting W-9s and photos, and partner-recognition reporting). Secure new in-kind partners through targeted, consultative outreach working a specific angle, not mass outreach.
Techs Rock Awards: Manage the program start to finish with minimal involvement from others: nominations and voting, timelines, judges (sourced with the Strategist's influencer help), sponsor deliverables, SEMA presence, and student logistics at the event.
AMA Coordination: Set up and coordinate AMA sessions with Development and the participants.
Wrap-Around & Influencer Support: Support the Social & Digital Marketing Strategist on wrap-around production and influencer logistics. The Strategist remains the function lead and owner.
