Job description

About Crimson Global Academy

Crimson Global Academy (CGA) is a world-leading online school with students in more than 30 countries and a teaching staff drawn predominantly from New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. Every one of our teachers is a subject expert, and our strong pastoral care network ensures students learn in a safe and inclusive environment.

Students at CGA study at a level that matches their academic competence rather than their age, which means a significant proportion of our cohort is working ahead of their peer group. Combined with curriculum flexibility, cutting-edge technology and the opportunity to accelerate, CGA offers an unusually rich environment for students with the drive to excel. Our academic results speak for themselves.

About the role

  • Plan and deliver lessons fully aligned to Pearson Edexcel IGCSE / A-Level specifications

  • Maintain your course page in the LMS — content, lesson plans, and resources

  • Support the Head of Department with quality assurance, learning walks, and standardisation

  • Help develop, mentor, and onboard other Commerce teachers

  • Contribute to curriculum review, assessment planning, and exam preparation

  • Support post-exam analysis, interventions, and student progress monitoring

  • Champion digital pedagogy and best-practice sharing

  • Encourage student enrichment through competitions and Commerce-related clubs

About you

  • Qualified teacher with deep expertise in Commerce (Business, Economics, and/or Accounting)

  • Strong knowledge of Pearson Edexcel IGCSE / A-Level specifications, examiner reports, and mark schemes

  • Confident with digital learning platforms and online teaching

  • A natural collaborator who can support and develop other teachers

  • Organised, data-aware, and committed to high standards

  • Excellent communicator with students, parents, and colleagues
