Compensation:   $27.11--$33.89 per hour plus sales incentive 

*This range reflects Carestream’s good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.

Position Summary:

The Inside Service Sales Representative (ISSR) is responsible for generating service agreement quotes and selling service agreements to new and existing Carestream customers. The ISSR will be responsible for cultivating prospective buyers, conveying the features and benefits of a service agreement to our customers, and closing the sale via phone and/or web-based technologies. The ISSR will work closely with the Service Sales Specialists to address customer’s and their specific needs. This role is intended to complement and support the activities of the direct Carestream sales team (Account Executives) and to have a focus on developing the sales funnel and extending the reach of Carestream in the medical imaging market segment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Writing, evaluating, negotiating, and executing various contracts covering a range of transactions
  • Creating and maintaining relationships with direct customers, Account Executives, and Service Sales Specialists
  • Maintaining correspondence and documentation related to contracts
  • Communicating and presenting information to stakeholders regarding contracts
  • Monitoring and managing warranty captures, renewals, and T&M capture contract opportunities
  • Problem-solving contract-related issues
  • Cold calling to existing Carestream customers
  • Complement the field Account Executive Sales team by providing active business development, qualification of new opportunities and following up on leads provided by Account Executive’s and Service Sales Specialists
  • Execution of service sales campaigns to drive new business
  • Respond to inbound phone calls and email promptly
  • Collaborate with team members to bring a cohesive Service Sales approach to the market
  • Execute a disciplined approach to following up and maintaining contact with targeted customers (Funnel Management)
  • Accurately document service sales activities in C4C (sales and service tool) and follow up on all tasks in a timely manner
  • Utilize reporting tools (Power BI) to maintain and organize customer activities and Service Sales forecasting

Required Skills & Education:

  • 2 or more years of successful inside sales experience with a proven track record of prior sales success
  • Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including superior reading, writing, language and teamwork skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and talent for accuracy and precision
  • Understanding of contracts, contract governance, contractual language, and the contract lifecycle
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to research and understand legal and financial implications
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and balance multiple responsibilities
  • Understand existing relationships between customers and other sales and service delivery channels, including Account Executives
  • Desktop skills, including knowledge of SAP (or similar CRM tool), Microsoft Excel and Word

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, Marketing or related field is desired
  • Experience in the healthcare or a related technology industry preferred
  • Excellent understanding of the business, medical imaging market, its services, customers, and providers
