Job description
Our Client, a Digital Media company, is looking for a Senior Program Manager for their Remote location.
Responsibilities:
Tracking Architecture & Implementation:
Mobile Attribution (MMP) Leadership: Drive the end-to-end implementation, maintenance, and upgrade strategy for the AppsFlyer SDK across iOS and Android applications.
Manage deep-linking architecture, postback configurations, and attribution logic.
GA4 Migration & Event Strategy: Lead the comprehensive rollout of GA4 across web and app environments.
Partner with marketing stakeholders to define High-Value Actions (HVAs) and collaborate with engineering to instrument these events accurately.
Own the centralized Data Dictionary (via tools like Avo, Iteratively, or internal wikis) to ensure absolute consistency across all landing pages, product flows, and checkout experiences.
Technical QA & Validation: Pre-Production Validation: Act as the analytical translator during design and development.
Review Figma files and product requirement documents (PRDs) to map out necessary tracking triggers based on user journeys.
Hands-On Debugging: Conduct rigorous QA of event firing before production releases using dogfood/beta apps, console debugging, and network intercept tools (e.g., Charles Proxy, Wireshark).
Cross-Functional Leadership & Strategy: Act as a relentless advocate for marketing data needs. Negotiate sprint capacity with product and engineering leaders, clearly articulating the business value of tracking updates to secure necessary engineering bandwidth.
Privacy & Compliance Governance: Partner with Legal and InfoSec teams to ensure all implementations strictly adhere to evolving privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and platform constraints (Appleβs App Tracking Transparency). Ensure seamless integration with Consent Management Platforms (CMPs).
Vendor Management: Serve as the primary technical liaison for third-party vendors (Google, AppsFlyer, Tag Management providers).
Triage complex data discrepancies, manage technical support escalations, and evaluate new MarTech tools.
Cross-Functional Roadmap Alignment & Negotiation: Negotiate sprint capacity with product and engineering leaders.
They must expertly articulate the business value of tracking updates to ensure marketing requirements do not continually fall to the bottom of the engineering backlog.
Requirements:
Experience: 7+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, Product Operations, or Analytics Engineering, with a focus on Marketing Technology, Analytics, or Data Enablement.
Platform Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Mobile Measurement Partners (AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Branch), and enterprise Tag Management Systems (GTM, Tealium).
Technical Literacy: Ability to read and understand code (JavaScript, Swift, Kotlin) enough to effectively guide engineers. Familiarity with SQL and data warehouse concepts (BigQuery, Snowflake).
QA Proficiency: Proven ability to validate mobile and web tracking using network inspection tools (Charles Proxy, Chrome Developer Tools).
Project Management: Mastery of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence) to manage complex dependencies across multiple engineering pods.
Experience operating at a Senior or Staff level within a large-scale consumer technology, media, or digital publishing company.
