Job description

Position Summary
You will be a field-based medical affairs professional focusing on hepatology in Taiwan. You will build trusted scientific relationships with clinicians and researchers. You will share clear, evidence-based medical information and gather clinical insights to shape local medical strategy. You will work with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development and cross-functional teams to turn insights into meaningful actions. We value curiosity, empathy, clear communication and collaboration. Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Build and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with hepatologists, gastroenterologists and multidisciplinary clinical teams across Taiwan.
  • Share balanced, evidence-based clinical information and explain complex data clearly to healthcare professionals and internal colleagues.
  • Collect, analyse and report clinical and scientific insights to inform local and regional medical strategy.
  • Plan and lead scientific exchange activities such as advisory boards, investigator meetings and local presentations.
  • Support local evidence generation, including feasibility assessments, investigator-initiated studies and collaborations with clinical centres.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support medical education, patient safety reporting and appropriate clinical practice.


Why You?

Work model
This is a field-based role in Taiwan with hybrid working elements. You will routinely meet clinicians in person across your assigned territory and use remote tools to collaborate with internal teams. Regular travel across Taiwan and flexible working hours are required.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

  • Advanced degree in a health science field (MD, PhD, PharmD, Pharm., or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in hepatology, gastroenterology, medical affairs, clinical research or a related role.
  • Experience engaging healthcare professionals and delivering scientific presentations.
  • Strong written and spoken Mandarin and good English for scientific communication.
  • Ability to work independently across an assigned geographic territory and manage priorities.
  • Legal authorization to work in Taiwan.


Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison, Associate Medical Manager, or in field-based medical affairs within hepatology.
  • Direct experience supporting clinical trials, real-world evidence studies or investigator-initiated research.
  • Postgraduate specialist training or additional qualifications in hepatology, gastroenterology or related areas.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to translate scientific insights into actionable medical recommendations.
  • Familiarity with the Taiwan hepatology landscape, clinical guidelines and key opinion leaders.
