Description:
Can be fully remote with no time zone preferences. Our partner programs run on incentives — deal registrations, co-investment and market development funds, and referral fees — that reward partners for building and selling. Behind every one of those is precise, detail-critical operational work: submissions to triage, policies to apply, partners and Finance to coordinate with, and payouts that have to be accurate and on time.
We're hiring an Incentive Operations Specialist (contractor) to own that operational backbone. You'll process the incentive queue, run vendor onboarding and payouts with Finance, keep the reconciliation source-of-truth clean, and build the SOPs and reporting that make the whole thing repeatable. Automation handles much of the steady-state volume — your judgment goes where it matters most: the edge cases, the accuracy checks, and the relationships.
What you'll do:
You'll be the owner of partner incentive operations end to end. Day to day, that means:
Own the queue — triage and process partner incentive submissions (deal registrations, co-investment funds, market development funds, and referral fees) within SLA and follow up with partners on anything incomplete.
Own the payouts — run Finance vendor-onboarding for each new partner and make sure every payout is accurate and goes out on time.
Keep the books straight — maintain the source-of-truth reconciliation tracker for the funds under administration.
Make the judgment calls — apply incentive program rules to the edge cases submissions surface and escalate anything that touches program design or budget.
Build the playbook — document SOPs for each incentive type, stand up SLAs, and report on volume and cycle time so the process runs the same way every time.
This role does not set incentive program design or budgets, negotiate legal terms, or recruit partners. The focus is accurate, on-time incentive operations.
You may be a good fit if you:
Have experience in operations, finance operations, partner/channel operations, deal desk, or a similar high-accuracy processing role.
Are meticulous with detail and numbers — you treat a late or wrong payout as unacceptable and build the checks to prevent it.
Are comfortable running and improving AI-powered or automated workflows to handle volume.
Are organized and systematic with trackers, reconciliations, and CRM or spreadsheet hygiene.
Communicate clearly with partners and internal teams (Finance especially) and follow up persistently until requests are complete.
Use sound judgment applying policy to edge cases and know when to escalate.
Can work independently and bring order to an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
Strong candidates may also:
Have worked with partner incentive programs — market development funds, co-investment or co-marketing funds, referral fees, or deal registration.
Have run vendor onboarding or payment processing alongside a Finance or AP team.
Have built or documented operational SOPs, SLAs, and reporting from scratch.
