Our 60,000+ associates work across the globe at more than 15 unique businesses within life sciences, diagnostics, and biotechnology.

Are you ready to accelerate your potential and make a real difference? At Danaher, you can build an incredible career at a leading science and technology company, where we’re committed to hiring and developing from within. You’ll thrive in a culture of belonging where you and your unique viewpoint matter.

Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.

The Senior Manager, Communications Technology & Insights leads the execution and evolution of Danaher’s enterprise Communications Technology (CommTech), data, and insights capabilities. This role designs, integrates, and governs communications technologies and analytics—working closely with system integrators, technology partners, and internal teams—to enable a more data‑ and insight‑driven Communications function. Combining technical fluency with analytical rigor, the role ensures communications tools, workflows, and insights are delivered through the right platforms and partners to drive speed, quality, consistency, and actionable insight across the enterprise. This role translates complex data into clear recommendations that strengthen Communications’ impact and decision‑making.

Reporting to the VP, Communications Operations, this role is part of the Enterprise Communications function and may be located remotely or onsite at our Boston office.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and drive the enterprise Communications Technology (CommTech) strategy, identifying system gaps, integration opportunities, and areas for scale, standardization, automation, and AI enablement in alignment with Danaher’s operating model and roadmap.
  • Own and manage the CommTech ecosystem end‑to‑end, including solution selection, implementation oversight, governance, lifecycle management, optimization, and long‑term sustainability, in partnership with Communications, IT, Data Security and external vendors.
  • Oversee implementation and optimization of core CommTech platforms, including monitoring and measurement tools, AI‑enabled analytics or content creation solutions, and the enterprise media CRM—ensuring enterprise standards for security, data governance, scalability and reliable global insight.
  • Build and evolve communications insights and performance reporting, developing dashboards, analytics pipelines, and measurement frameworks that translate Communications’ activity into actionable insights, strategic recommendations and enterprise KPIs.
  • Standardize CommTech workflows and drive operational excellence, establishing adoption standards, governance models, training pathways, and continuous‑improvement practices that improve data quality, system performance, user adoption and end‑to‑end workflow efficiency across Enterprise, Platforms, and OpCos.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 6+ years of experience supporting modern Communications functions across communications technology, digital systems, analytics, or related fields, with a Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that drive decision‑making and improve communications performance.
  • Demonstrated ownership of enterprise‑scale technology platforms, including SaaS governance, large‑scale implementations, and change‑management initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in communications technology and emerging AI‑enabled solutions, with hands‑on experience across communications platforms, media CRMs, and monitoring and analytics tools.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, integrations, taxonomies, and metadata structures to ensure scalable, well‑governed communications ecosystems.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Applying AI, automation, or machine‑learning tools within Communications or Marketing environments. Working effectively within highly matrixed, global organizations.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Travel requirements: Estimate travel of 25% - 30%.
