We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join our esteemed Diabetes Care division covering Central Coast/ Newcastle/ Hunter New England territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional education and support to healthcare professionals, including endocrinologists, diabetes nurse educators, pharmacists, and general practitioners. This will be achieved through strategically planned appointments scheduled on a quarterly basis.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Promote product recommendations and awareness through exceptional face-to-face and virtual interactions with healthcare professionals

  • Deliver high-quality educational sessions to both healthcare professionals and consumers, as outlined in the annual marketing plan

  • Manage expenditures to meet established spending KPIs

  • Maintain quarterly KPIs for coverage and frequency

  • Oversee the use of Sales Force and other internal systems to ensure optimal effectiveness

  • Collaborate with NSW and national team members to facilitate state and national product adoption

  • Attend national sales meetings and industry events as required

  • Understand and communicate clinical and medical data, with a strong knowledge of disease states

  • Maintain comprehensive IT capabilities

  • Adhere to Abbott's corporate ethics and compliance procedures

  • Experience in a sales role, preferably within the healthcare industry

  • Communication - Superior proficiency in concise and articulate communication

  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets

  • Degree or diploma in a science or nursing discipline

  • Ability to quickly adapt to new directives and situations

  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently
