JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Overview

The HK CRM Intern will play a supportive role in delivering high‑quality clinical and operational assistance within the Cardiac Rhythm Management division. This position offers hands‑on exposure to cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIED) management in real healthcare settings, providing a valuable learning platform for students interested in biomedical engineering, medical devices, or healthcare technology.

The intern will work closely with the CRM team to assist in inpatient and outpatient support activities across public hospitals, private hospitals, and clinics in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operational tasks as assigned by the manager or supervisor (Monday to Saturday).

  • Assist the team in providing clinical and technical support to patients with CIEDs in various healthcare settings.

  • Help prepare, organize, and maintain documentation and materials related to clinical activities.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth clinical operations.

  • Observe and learn basic device troubleshooting, data collection, and workflow processes within the CRM function.

  • Uphold high standards of professionalism, patient safety, and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

We are seeking applicants who meet the following criteria:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in science: majoring in Biomedical, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Bio-chemistry related disciplines.

  • Preferably a Year 3 or Year 4 undergraduate student.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficient in both written and spoken English; Cantonese fluency is an advantage.

  • Highly motivated, eager to learn, and passionate about the medical device or healthcare field.

  • A proactive team player with an outgoing and positive attitude.

  • Must hold a valid work permit for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
