Meet your new team

As our Student Assistant in the Products & Innovation Strategy & Execution PMO, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on delivering effective project and portfolio management support to the Products & Innovation Senior Management and Product Category Teams.

This role offers an opportunity to gain insights into Project and Portfolio Management, work on critical projects, and collaborate with stakeholders across the VELUX organisation. This will provide you with great opportunities to challenge yourself, learn how to navigate in a large, international organisation and develop your skills in PMO as well as building a great professional network.

Your primary tasks include:

  • Support Product Category Teams with reporting on project execution performance
  • Take part in developing project and portfolio management processes in collaboration with senior colleagues
  • Designing and maintaining reporting and communication platforms
  • Updating and controlling data in our project portfolio management system, as well as acting as Super User to support system users (you will receive training)
  • Other ad hoc tasks

The position will be a part-time role with approx. 15-20 hours weekly, and we offer a flexible workplan that can be adapted to fit your study programme, including the opportunity to work from home when the schedule allows.

You will be working out of our beautiful offices at LKR Innovation House in Østbirk, and can expect some travel to our Head Office in Hørsholm.

Who we are looking for

We seek a motivated student who is keen to develop their skills and contribute effectively. You thrive in a complex and changing environment, enjoy solving complex problems, and are comfortable engaging with various stakeholders.

To meet the demands in this role, you should:

  • Be in the final year of your bachelor’s degree or beginning a master’s degree in a relevant field such as technology or business administration.
  • Have great analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving.
  • Be organised and capable of effectively managing your own tasks.
  • Be proactive, service-minded and focused on solutions and opportunities
  • Be IT proficient and enjoy working with data, and a fast learner when it comes to new systems. Previous experience with PowerBI and Project & Portfolio Management systems is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Have advanced communication skills and be comfortable collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
