The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh invites applications for a full-time Marketing Project Manager within the Division of Marketing & Communications. In this role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, prioritization, and execution of marketing and communications projects that support the university’s strategic goals, brand initiatives, and institutional storytelling efforts.
Working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, you will serve as a central operational partner across the division—helping ensure projects move efficiently from concept through completion while improving communication, workflow visibility, and cross-functional alignment.

Starting at $44,000 commensurate with experience
Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, timelines, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong working knowledge of project management systems and workflow platforms, with the ability to effectively manage projects, communication, task assignments, reporting, and operational coordination within Asana being critical to success in this role. Experience with platforms such as Monday.com, Trello, Basecamp, or similar systems is also valued.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities effectively.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to build positive working relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively with campus partners, leadership teams, creative staff, and external constituents while maintaining professionalism and responsiveness.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to adapt quickly to shifting priorities, deadlines, and organizational needs.
Experience working within higher education, nonprofit, agency, or creative services environments.
Familiarity with integrated marketing and communications workflows, campaign planning, creative production processes, and operational coordination.
Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies and process improvement frameworks.
Experience supporting cross-functional creative, digital, content, or communications teams.
Demonstrated ability to identify workflow inefficiencies, improve operational processes, and implement scalable project management solutions.
