Our Customer Service team is responsible for maintaining a high standard, professional, customer support service. In this role, the Field Service Engineer will act as the face for the company, making sure our customer needs are met with high quality. This role is primarily supporting customers across Ireland, andidates based in the greater Dublin area will be ideally situated.

The main products that will be supported are Revvity’ s Diagnostics and Life Science instrumentation.

Role description:

  • Performs field service, carrying our repairs, maintenance and installation of instrumentation and their accessories.

  • Provides onsite user training on defined product groups.

  • Ensures accurate documentation is in place and of high quality.

  • Reporting into the LifeScience and Applied Genomics service leader for the UK and Ireland, the successful candidate may be expected to travel to the UK to support where necessary and across Europe on occasion.

Role requirements:

  • Relevant education (e.g. Degree/Diploma in Electronic Engineering or equivalent) is preferred, but not essential

  • Significant experience, preferably in a Customer Service Environment.

  • Good communications skills

  • Strong customer service ethic

  • Prepared to travel

  • Full driving licence

  • Maintains personal service spares and inventory records to the highest standard.  Ensures all anomalies are quickly and effectively reported and resolved.

  • Ensures that all tools and test equipment are adequate to perform service required, and that all test equipment issued is calibrated at the times specified.

  • Makes timely returns of all fully completed service documentation, Service Reports, Time Sheets, Expenses Claims, Motor Vehicle Log Sheets etc.

  • At the request of the Service Manager, performs service on behalf of Revvity, to the standard expected in the UK and Ireland, at sites of overseas customers.
