Job Description:

GDIT's Federal Health Team is hiring a Clinical Change Management Consultant to support the Veterans Affairs Electronic Health Records Modernization effort.

Location:  Remote/Hybrid
Travel Requirement: Up to 75% 

Work Visa Sponsorship will not be considered for this position.

 

Position Overview:

The Change Management Consultant will support large-scale transformation initiatives by developing and executing comprehensive change strategies aligned with project and organizational goals. This role focuses on preparing, equipping, and enabling stakeholders to adopt new processes, technologies, and ways of working. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in change management methodologies, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach to partnering across teams and stakeholders. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement holistic change management plans that support project objectives and desired outcomes. 

  • Facilitate workshops and sessions to improve stakeholder understanding, readiness, and alignment around change initiatives. 

  • Monitor and report on change progress, including identifying risks, challenges, and areas requiring targeted interventions. 

  • Foster a culture of open communication, transparency, and feedback to drive stakeholder engagement and adoption. 

  • Leverage data-driven insights to refine change strategies, enhance organizational readiness, and measure effectiveness. 

Additional Accountabilities:

  • Assist the Change Lead in all aspects of change management execution, including: 

  • Work planning and schedule coordination 

  • Stakeholder management and communication strategies 

  • Conducting gap analyses and contributing to process improvement efforts 

  • Tracking and reporting change-related metrics 

  • Develop and deliver training sessions to end users to support successful transition and adoption. 

  • Support the creation of knowledge management assets, including user guides, FAQs, and other learning materials. 

  • Assist in designing and developing training and enablement content such as tip sheets and quick reference guides. 

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and client workstreams to ensure alignment and cohesive change execution. 

 

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree (work experience will be considered in lieu of degree)

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Change Management (P4 – Master level) 

  • Change Management Training (P4 – Master level) 

  • ADKAR / Prosci certification 

  • Demonstrated stakeholder management expertise 

  • Proficiency in change analytics, including measurement and reporting 

 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Journey management experience 

  • Familiarity with Oracle EHR and/or Cerner Millennium systems

The likely salary range for this position is $87,975 - $119,025. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
