About the role:

This is an opportunity to join to nearshore production hub in Bogotá as QA Manager — owning the quality assurance function for a high-volume, AI-augmented creative production studio embedded with a leading healthcare education institution. 

Based in Bogotá you'll be responsible for ensuring every piece of content that leaves the studio is accurate, brand-compliant, technically correct, and free of error before it reaches the client. In a studio producing at the velocity delivers our client quality assurance is not a final checkpoint — it is a designed-in system. You will build and own that system.

THE ROLE 

The QA Manager leads the studio's quality assurance function, managing a QA team, and establishing the standards, processes, and checklists that protect the integrity of every asset delivered. You work across creative, email, video, and production output — ensuring brand compliance, technical accuracy, and delivery of readiness at every stage of the production workflow. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

  • Lead and develop the studio's QA function — establishing quality standards, review checklists, and brand compliance frameworks across all content types and channels
  • Manage and mentor the QA team, building a culture of precision, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Own the final quality review for all studio output before client delivery — covering creative accuracy, copy proofing, technical specs, brand compliance, and accessibility requirements
  • Partner with the Program Director to embed QA checkpoints into the studio's production workflow at OMG stage-gate level, ensuring quality is reviewed before work advances — not only at delivery
  • Develop and maintain channel-specific QA checklists covering email rendering, paid social specs, display format requirements, and video technical delivery standards
  • Review AI-generated and AI-assisted content with particular rigor — establishing clear human-oversight standards for Pencil outputs, including image accuracy, copy correctness, and brand consistency
  • Track and report on quality metrics — revision rates per asset, error type frequency, and brand compliance pass rates — and identify systemic quality issues for remediation
  • Partner with the Associate Creative Director and CRM Strategist to align QA standards with brand guidelines and campaign requirements for each of the five institutions
  • Support the onboarding of new team members with QA training, brand immersion sessions, and quality standard documentation 

WHAT YOU BRING 

  • +3 years of experience in quality assurance, creative operations, or production management in a creative, content, or marketing environment
  • Strong attention to detail across multiple content types — copy, design, email HTML, video, and digital display
  • Familiarity with email QA requirements including cross-client rendering, accessibility, and deliverability standards
  • Experience building and managing QA processes and teams in a high-volume production environment
  • Understanding of brand management and the compliance requirements of regulated or sensitive marketing categories (higher education or healthcare experience is a meaningful differentiator)
  • Clear, organized communication skills; professional proficiency in English; Spanish proficiency is an advantage for the Bogota hub role
  • A systematic, process-oriented mindset — you build quality into the system, not just check for errors at the end 

Gen AI & Agentic Thinking 

  • Experience reviewing and quality-checking AI-generated content, with a rigorous approach to human oversight of AI outputs
  • Familiarity with AI content generation workflows; ability to develop QA protocols specific to Pencil-generated assets
  • Systematic approach to quality management: data-informed, process-led, and proactive 

Qualifications: Formal degrees are welcome but not required. Equivalent experience counts.
