Job description

Innodata (Nasdaq: INOD) is a global data engineering company. We believe that data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are inextricably linked. Our mission is to enable the responsible advancement of artificial intelligence by providing the data, evaluation frameworks, and human expertise required to build AI systems that can be trusted at scale. We provide a range of transferable solutions, platforms, and services for Generative AI / AI builders and adopters. In every relationship, we honor our 36+ year legacy delivering the highest quality data and outstanding outcomes for our customers.

Scope of the Role:

We are looking for a hunter-style Sales Director to spearhead new logo acquisition for Innodata’s Enterprise AI Business Unit. This role is laser-focused on breaking into net-new enterprise accounts and positioning Innodata as the partner of choice for AI implementation, GenAI QA, Context Engineering, and GenAI Product Operations Support. The ideal candidate combines a headhunter mindset with enterprise sales acumen and can create executive-level conversations around AI adoption, governance, and operationalization.

What You’ll Own:

  • New Logo Acquisition: Drive pipeline creation and close $10M+ in net-new enterprise deals annually.
  • Solution Selling: Position Innodata’s offerings:
  • AI Implementation: Smart search, knowledge assist, copilots, and agentic AI.
  • GenAI QA: Red-teaming, model evaluation, safety, and reliability testing.
  • GenAI Context Engineering: Structuring enterprise context into AI workflows.
  • GenAI Product Operations Support: Scaling model operations, triage, labeling, and developer platform support.
  • CxO Engagement: Build trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and Innovation leaders to shape AI transformation roadmaps.
  • Account Strategy: Map target accounts, orchestrate tailored outreach, and land pilots that expand into enterprise programs.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Pre-sales, practice, delivery and solution teams to co-create compelling proposals, POVs, and demos.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Innodata at industry events, AI forums, and analyst discussions to raise market visibility.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Have:

  • 10–15 years of enterprise sales experience with a proven hunter track record in new logo acquisition.
  • Prior experience in AI/ML, GenAI, digital transformation, or enterprise software/services strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to close $2M+ deals in enterprise services.
  • Existing CxO and VP-level network in Tech, Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, or Manufacturing.
  • Understanding of the AI adoption lifecycle and enterprise pain points: implementation, evaluation, governance, and operations.
  • Consultative, research-driven prospector with strong closing skills and executive presence.

The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 – $180,000 USD per year, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
