Core Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, briefs, and correspondence with precision and clarity
  • Conduct thorough legal research using a variety of research tools and databases to support case strategy and client advisement
  • Assist senior attorneys in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
  • Communicate directly with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and manage expectations professionally and empathetically
  • Appear in court and before administrative agencies as required, representing clients in hearings and procedural matters
  • Manage a personal caseload with minimal supervision, meeting all filing deadlines and procedural requirements
  • Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient case management and client service delivery
  • Stay current on changes in Ohio law, relevant regulations, and legal precedents to ensure all work product reflects the most up-to-date legal standards

Must-Have Requirements
  • Active license to practice law in the State of Ohio in good standing
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Strong legal research and writing skills with demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work product under deadline pressure
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and professional courtroom presence
