Job description

Job Title - Data Modeler
Location – St Louis, MO(Remote)

Job Details:
Role Overview:

The Data Modeler is responsible for designing, developing and managing the data models that
support operational, real-time and analytical applications. The Data Modeler will work in a
collaborative team environment to assess requirements, define data modelling strategy and
deliver solutions.
The Data Modeler must also have a strong hands-on experience in designing data model and
mapping with strong Healthcare domain and Operational Insights knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
● Design/Develop/Maintain data models (including Business/Conceptual, Logical and Physical models) that support operational, real-time and analytical applications
● Create optimized data designs that facilitate consistency, reuse and ensure efficient storage and retrieval and limit data duplications
● Developing models in IBM IDA, ERStudio, ERWin tools
● Use data modeling to create a common language with visual references to describe data and its relationships across business domains
● Design and map business entities/attributes across Operational Insights Hub
● Design and map logical/physical entities/attributes for Operational Insights Hub

Qualification & Skills Required:
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field
● 10+ years of experience in data and analytical engagements with at least 5 years in data modeling role
● Healthcare domain experience required
● Advanced knowledge in data modeling techniques such as Business process Model, Entity Relationship, dimensional modeling, data vault, etc
● Implementation experience in cloud architecture patterns particularly in GCP
● Strong SQL and programming language experience
● Experience in Git, Jira and Confluence tools
● Comprehensive knowledge of agile development methodologies
● Hands on experience in IBM IDA, ER/Studio, ERWin tools
● Demonstrated experience modelling for Datawarehousing, operational store and real time applications
● Strong Data Architecture experience
● Exposure to Solar Winds, Tanium/Forescout, Market Ops tracker ServiceNow systems and underlying data
● Ability to collaborate across multiple work locations/teams
● Ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete information
● Advanced verbal / written / presentation skills
