The role with theJoint Use Office Operation team in the Utility Asset Management department isintegral to efficiently managing communication equipment on company poles. Thededicated team is tasked with ensuring adherence to operational processesdesigned to cater to communication companies (licensees) while upholding safetystandards mandated by OPUC, OAR, and NESC regulations. Compliance with stricttimelines and obligations set forth by these regulatory bodies remains a toppriority for the team, reflecting the professionalism and commitment requiredto effectively execute their responsibilities.

In this role, thedata analyst plays a crucial part in collecting and analyzing data, maintainingdatabases, preparing insightful reports, develop visualization and creatinginteractive dashboards for both leadership and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).This position requires seamless collaboration with fellow colleagues topinpoint areas for enhancing existing reports and analyses, underscoring thenecessity for strong communication and problem-solving skills alongside a knackfor teamwork to comprehend business processes and requirements effectively.

Proficiency withtools such as SQL, Snowflake, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Excel, andOutlook is paramount.

Astypical day-to-day tasks, the data analyst takes on a variety ofresponsibilities to ensure data-driven decision-making is at the forefront ofoperational success. This involves

• Using data in Snowflake, Tableau Extracts, and Excel to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
  
• Using Tableau desktop to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams, graphs, filters, parameters, creating complex calculated fields, creating LOD expression
  
• Using Tableau server to publish workbooks and data extracts
  
• Organizing and transforming information into comprehensible structures
  
• Performing statistical analysis of data
  
• Preparing reports and presenting these to management or SMEs
  
• Monitoring data quality and removing corrupt data
  
• Validating their analysis results
  
• Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements
