Job description

The Fulfillment Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing and supporting the execution of the fulfillment process for various sales channels, including our B2B partners. This role ensures accurate, efficient and timely fulfillment of all orders from receipt to delivery, while meeting customer requirements. The position also involves managing chargebacks, resolving EDI orders, collaborating with IT, and working closely with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure seamless operations. 

Reports to: Senior Manager of Distribution and Customer Experience 

Location: Remote (Eastern Pennsylvania)

This role supports our Allentown Distribution Center and requires regular onsite partnership with warehouse operations, carriers, and logistics partners. Travel to the Allentown DC is expected up to 60% of the time.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead execution of B2B customer orders to ensure on-time and in-full deliveries from inventory receipt through delivery to customer distribution centers 
  • Review and correct EDI errors for Partnership shipments and provide support for the set up and maintenance of EDI integrations with retailers, ensuring the accuracy of data transmission.
  • Track and research chargebacks assessed by Partnerships customers either disputing them or identifying and correcting gaps in process that led to the chargebacks.
  • Own order exception management, including delivery failures, short ships, and cancellations across omnichannels.
  • Manage transportation execution (routing, load building..)  for key wholesale and partnership accounts (e.g., Target, Nordstrom) in collaboration with those customers 
  • Track and submit lost package claims and support carrier issue resolution
  • Partner with warehouse teams to resolve transmission, ASN, New Product setup, shipping method issues and support onsite continuous improvement projects. 
  • Regularly review and resolve issues with open orders, ensuring successful transmission to 3PLs to ensure performance meets OTIF Service Level Agreement from Warehouse.
  • Support LTL/TL quoting and coordination for bulk and wholesale shipments
  • Maintain B2B order status trackers and reporting to support operational visibility with Sales and Customer Retail teams 
  • Travel to our Allentown, PA distribution center is required up to 60% of the time

Who You Are

  • Strong experience in order fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain roles
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to address fulfillment challenges and chargebacks
  • Detail-oriented with strong execution and follow-through
  • Comfortable managing high order volumes and exceptions
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with both internal and external partners. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and dealing with conflict 
  • Knowledge of B2B, wholesale, and e-commerce platforms (Partners Online, Amazon 3P...etc)
  • Experience in wholesale, or logistics operations preferred

Parachute takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. The estimated pay range for this role is $30 - $36 / hour.
