We partner with international clients across industries, providing long-term technical expertise, product innovation, and team augmentation. Please note: This position is a full-time vendor contract directly with Inallmedia.com.

πŸš€ Project Overview

You will join a high-visibility engineering squad dedicated to a critical corporate mission: scaling and maintaining an internal, self-hosted n8n platform that acts as the central automation engine for the entire enterprise.

This team is responsible for moving the organization away from static, fragmented scripts and into a cohesive, highly reliable enterprise automation layer. Rather than just using out-of-the-box UI tools, this squad writes custom node code, builds advanced webhooks, and manages production-grade infrastructure capable of handling millions of operational requests.

πŸ” Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Scaling & Evolution: Lead the long-term maintenance, scaling, and reliability of our self-hosted n8n enterprise automation engine.
  • Custom Integration Development: Write custom node code and develop advanced webhooks to extend platform capabilities far beyond standard out-of-the-box configurations.
  • Workflow Architecture: Design robust, asynchronous, and non-blocking workflows capable of smoothly throttling or queuing API payloads under heavy operational loads.
  • Infrastructure & Debugging: Manage production-grade infrastructure and collaborate deeply with core platform infrastructure teams to isolate and resolve complex system bottlenecks.
  • Cross-Functional Strategy: Bridge the gap between technical execution and high-level operational strategy, communicating effectively with both business stakeholders and engineering teams.

πŸ’‘ Must-Have Skills

  • Experience: Senior-level professional software engineering experience in high-scale, high-visibility environments.
  • Core Languages: Deep proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript (the primary stack for this role), alongside strong capabilities in Python.
  • Full-Stack & API Design: Proven experience developing modern applications with a heavy emphasis on backend system integration, robust API design, and a functional understanding of frontend layers.
  • Software Fundamentals: Solid foundations in data structures, distributed systems architecture, and secure API management.
  • Scale & Platform Reliability: Hands-on experience engineering asynchronous workflows, rate-limiting, and payload queue management under heavy concurrent load.
  • Fluent English: High proficiency for daily technical communication, stakeholder alignment, and documentation.

🌟 Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Automation Engines: Hands-on experience with n8n (strongly preferred) or similar enterprise workflow platforms like Zapier, Workato, or Make.
  • Cloud-Native Infrastructure: Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and microservice deployments.
  • Database Management: Competence with PostgreSQL, including query optimization and transaction troubleshooting.
  • AI & Next-Gen Tech: Experience building AI/LLM-powered agents, prompt pipelines, and cognitive automation integrations.
  • Community Footprint: History of active contributions to open-source software projects.

🌐 Time Zone & Collaboration

The role requires close collaboration with teams aligned to EMEA time zones. Flexibility to overlap a full workday with the European/UK region is expected to ensure seamless integration with the core development and infrastructure teams.
