Infrastructure Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager (Contract) Location: Remote (DFW candidates highly preferred) Duration: Through October 2026, with strong potential for extension
Overview Our client is seeking an Infrastructure Project Coordinator or Junior Project Manager to support a large-scale network infrastructure initiative focused on Cisco hardware lifecycle management and vulnerability remediation. This role will help coordinate activities related to code and firmware updates on end-of-life network equipment across a complex enterprise environment. While the initial project is targeted for completion by October 2026, successful consultants will have the opportunity to transition into additional infrastructure projects due to a significant ongoing project pipeline.
Requirements: Candidates do not need to be hands-on engineers but should have familiarity with infrastructure environments, including:
Cisco network switches
Cisco routers
Data center operations
Network infrastructure projects
Hardware refreshes and lifecycle management
Firmware, software, or code upgrade initiatives
Vulnerability remediation programs
Experience supporting network engineering or data center teams is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Coordinate project activities for network infrastructure upgrades and remediation.
Track project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
Facilitate communication between infrastructure, network engineering, and business stakeholders.
Schedule and coordinate maintenance windows, implementation activities, and status meetings.
Maintain project documentation, action items, risk logs, and project reporting.
Assist with change management processes and implementation tracking.
Monitor progress against critical October remediation deadlines.
Escalate risks, blockers, and resource constraints as needed.
Support multiple workstreams across a large enterprise infrastructure.

DFW-area candidates are preferred and may have the option to work periodically from local office space when collaboration is beneficial.
Candidates working remotely should demonstrate strong self-management skills and the ability to operate independently with limited supervision.
