Contract consulting opportunity for an experienced UX Designer 
Client requirements: 
  • Work authorization: US Citizen or GC holder
  • W2 hourly ONLY (NO corp to corp/C2C)
  • Location: Local to Minneapolis, MN area is preferred, but open to remote
  • Portfolio is required.

We’re looking for a UX Product Designer to help shape customer experiences across our
product portfolios. You’ll design across the end-to-end customer journey. You'll identify opportunities, simplify complex workflows, and create intuitive experiences that improve both customer satisfaction and business outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a strong systems thinker and problem solver who thrives in collaborative environments, embraces ambiguity, and is passionate about delivering customer-centered solutions at scale.

Design End-to-End Experiences

  • Design and evolve customer journeys 
  • Translate customer needs, business goals, and technical requirements into intuitive and scalable experiences.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

Create Exceptional Product Experiences

  • Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile platforms.
  • Leverage customer insights, research, and data to inform design decisions.
  • Deliver thoughtful, user-centered solutions that balance customer and business needs.

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, UX Research, Content Design, Accessibility, Data Science, and Business stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional planning, discovery, and execution efforts.
  • Communicate design rationale clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Elevate Design Quality

  • Contribute to design critiques, workshops, and collaborative working sessions.
  • Ensure experiences are accessible, consistent, and aligned with established design systems and standards.
  • Advocate for best practices in user-centered design and product thinking.

Explore AI-Powered Design Opportunities

  • Leverage emerging AI tools to improve design workflows and accelerate learning.
  • Identify opportunities where AI can enhance customer experiences and product innovation.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of experience designing customer-facing digital products.
  • Experience in eCommerce, retail, transactional, account management, service, or related customer experiences.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, interaction design, and end-to-end product design execution.
  • Experience designing and improving web and mobile experiences.
  • Proficiency creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using modern design tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience working in agile product environments with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering partners.
  • Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable design recommendations.
  • Experience working within established design systems and accessibility standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity and willingness to adopt new technologies, including AI-powered design tools
ITR Group offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, and 401(k) for eligible employees. The W2 pay range for this type of role is approximately $55.00 - $67.00 per billable hour. This range is an estimate and not a guarantee of compensation. The final rate will be determined by factors such as experience, market trends, and specific job assignments.
