Position: Internal Medicine Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $130โ€“$300/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: Ongoing
Commitment: 20+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Design clinically realistic prompts and scenarios from your Internal Medicine practice. Focus on diagnostic reasoning, treatment planning, risk stratification, and guideline concordance.
  • Write "golden" reference responses at attending-level quality to ensure high standards.
  • Grade AI-generated responses against structured rubrics to maintain consistency and accuracy.
  • Provide written feedback to the research team to improve model behavior and performance.
  • Participate in onboarding office hours and specialty calibration sessions to align with team standards.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Board-certified attending physicians with a current, active, unrestricted medical license.
  • Final-year resident physicians or recent graduates who are board-eligible.
  • Fellows who are board-certified/board-eligible in primary specialty with a current active, unrestricted medical license.

Start Date

  • Rolling, after onboarding sign-off.

Compensation & Legal

  • Remote, 100% asynchronous.
  • Paid weekly via Mercor.
