Role:  Brand Manager

Location: Mumbai, India 

 

About the role: 

As a Creator/Writer at Google India, you'll be responsible for crafting compelling content for social media channels, including moments, daily content, and campaigns. With a strong understanding of social media trends and marketing strategies, you'll develop and implement comprehensive content plans that drive engagement and brand awareness. Your expertise will be sought after by partners and agencies, and you'll work closely with them to bring creative ideas to life. 

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Creating content for Google India’s social channels: for moments, every day content, and campaigns etc.  
  • Includes campaign planning, campaign strategy, calendar management, working with partners, creators and agencies to create the content 
  • Oversee creative delivery for always on social content, social first short form video, paid social ads and creator content. 
  • Manage internal stakeholders across global teams, ensuring great work is reported well and inputs are taken from cross functional teams before executing any campaign. 
  • Manage budgets across different work streams across the campaign lifecycle 
  • Oversee annual contracting and budgets with agencies and vendors

 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • A strong eye for quality social content 
  • Organisational and multitasking skills 
  • Stakeholder management and collaboration  
  • Being resourceful, a self-starter and inherently innovative and creative in problem solving. 
  • Adept at brand and creative strategy 
  • Agency management
  • 6-10 years of experience working in marketing: ideally social and digital 
  • A keen interest in and understanding of social, trends, marketing and how brands are built online 
  • A strong eye for quality social content 
  • Organisational and multitasking skills 
  • Copywriting skills and experience running social channels are a really big plus 
  • Being able to work with partners and agencies and bring an idea together 
  • Coming up with an idea, and producing it - end to end. 
  • Self-starter, content producer attitude 
  • Knowledge and awareness of the social media influencer ecosystem 
  • Understanding of reading data and working with the analytics team to implement insights as part of content strategy
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies 
  • Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
