Bitrefill is remote-first. This is full-time. You'll need solid overlap with both European and Latin American time zones.

The team is about 90 people, fully distributed. Few meetings. Lots of autonomy.

The job

At Bitrefill, we’re looking for a Web3 Developer who’s not just talented but driven by a passion for crypto and cutting-edge web3 technology. In this role, you'll dive deep into building and optimizing our crypto payment solutions, driving real impact by integrating with suppliers and enhancing the backbone of our services. You'll work closely with a dynamic team of backend and frontend developers as well as creative designers, ensuring everything we build is fast, reliable, and scales effortlessly.

What you'll do

• Manage and maintain the payment display part of our payment flow (Payment URI, address display and QR code, etc)

• Handle our wallet ecosystem, both maintaining the standards and working with non-standard wallets

• Stay current with wallet trends to ensure our wallet selector is up to date and advancing with new trends

• Maintain and evolve our wallet connect stack (WalletConnect, MetaMask, Coinbase)

• Manage the React tooling for WEB3 (Wagmi) and improve it

• Understand the difference between our various environments (Website, App and affiliate widget) and be the point of contact for the various teams interacting with it

Who you are

• You reside in Americas or EU time zones

• Minimum 2-3 years of React experience, good understanding of performance and third-party tooling trade-off

• Professional experience with our tech stack or personal projects related to web3 technologies and payments

• Active participation in the web3 community

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in written and spoken English

• The ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments, along with the capability to work independently

• The willingness to champion your ideas in the web3 space and bring them to fruition

• Practical AI integration in your daily work, driven by what works, not what's trendy
