Director, Enterprise PMO & Operational Excellence

Position Summary

The Director, Enterprise PMO & Operational Excellence will be responsible for building and managing the company's Project Management Office (PMO), process governance framework, operational controls, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

This role will partner with executive leadership and business unit leaders to improve organizational effectiveness, standardize processes, centralize documentation and contracts, implement governance frameworks, and support automation initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise PMO
• Establish and manage the SkySys PMO framework
• Maintain enterprise project portfolio and prioritization process
• Create executive dashboards and project status reporting
• Facilitate governance meetings and steering committees

Process Excellence
• Document current-state and future-state workflows
• Develop and maintain enterprise SOP library
• Standardize onboarding, payroll, billing, recruiting, and delivery processes
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements

Operational Controls
• Assist with implementation of billing and payroll controls
• Support audit readiness initiatives
• Create operational review and quality assurance processes
• Identify and mitigate operational risks

Contract & Documentation Governance
• Centralize client, vendor, partner, and workforce contracts
• Implement contract lifecycle management processes
• Maintain enterprise document repositories and standards

Transformation & Change Management
• Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives
• Support automation and AI implementation projects
• Coordinate stakeholders across Finance, Operations, HR, Delivery, and Talent functions
• Drive adoption of new processes and systems

Qualifications
• 10+ years of Program Management, PMO, Consulting, or Operational Excellence experience
• Experience building governance and operational frameworks
• Strong process improvement and organizational development skills
• Experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in staffing, professional services, consulting, healthcare, government, or regulated environments preferred

Success Metrics
• PMO established and operational within 90 days
• Enterprise SOP library completed within 3 months
• Contract repository centralized within 3 months
• Governance cadence established across departments
• Operational control framework implemented
• Successful delivery of transformation initiatives
