Job description

Your mission

Bonjour et bienvenue ! We are so glad to have you here with us at Sungrow - one of the world's leading forces in clean energy technology. If you are passionate about renewables, love solving technical puzzles, and want to grow in a truly international environment, then keep reading - this one is for you.

As a Technical Support Remote Engineer (VIE) based at our hotline hub in Poznań, Poland, your day-to-day will look a lot like this:

  • Be the go-to technical expert on our hotline, supporting distributors, installers, and end users across the French market with confidence and care.
  • Manage and resolve incoming tickets efficiently, ensuring every customer query is handled with precision and a smile.
  • Create and record FAQ content and online training courses tailored to the needs of your region, making knowledge accessible to all.
  • Document processes, solutions, and best practices to continuously improve the support experience.
  • Prepare and deliver regular performance reports - weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually - to keep the department centre informed and aligned.
  • Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of our remote support operations in a fast-paced, international team.

Your profile

Alright, now that you have a feel for what the role is about - let's talk about you! To thrive in this position and truly enjoy the journey, your background should ideally look something like this:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field - or equivalent hands-on experience that tells the same story.
  • Some previous exposure to the energy sector is a real plus - whether through internships, projects, or professional experience.
  • A genuine passion for clean technology and a strong drive to keep learning and growing in this space.
  • Excellent command of both French and English at C1 level or above - you will be supporting French-speaking customers and collaborating in English daily.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, you know the drill.
  • The ability to work independently, stay focused, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • A quick-learning mindset and the curiosity to deepen your knowledge in the renewable energy world.

And don't worry - if you tick most but not all of these boxes, we still want to hear from you. We are not looking for a perfect checklist; we are looking for the right person.

Why us?

At Sungrow's Technical Support team, you will be joining a group of driven, collaborative professionals who genuinely care about the energy transition. This is not just a support role - it is a front-row seat to the future of clean energy, where your work directly impacts customers across France and beyond.

You will benefit from:

  • VIE contract - a unique opportunity for young European professionals to gain international work experience in a global greentech leader.
  • A structured, supportive environment where your development is taken seriously - with access to training, resources, and a team that has your back.
  • The chance to build deep expertise in solar, storage, and clean energy technology - skills that are increasingly in demand worldwide.
  • A multicultural, international team based in Poznań, with strong connections to Sungrow's European network.
  • Real impact from day one - your contributions to the French market will be visible, measurable, and meaningful.
