  • Coordinate and manage certifications across major global markets including FCC, ISED, CE/RED, UKCA, ACMA, and Wi-Fi Alliance.
  • Support additional country approvals including India, Japan, Korea, and China.
  • Work closely with cross-functional global engineering teams to identify regulatory risks early in the design cycle and drive mitigation strategies.
  • Review and approve regulatory test plans, test reports, declarations, and certification documentation.
  • Manage external compliance labs, consultants, certification bodies, and regulatory vendors.
  • Prepare and manage compliance project budgets, purchase orders, vendor payments, and certification schedules.
  • Monitor evolving worldwide regulatory requirements and ensure ongoing compliance of shipping products.
  • Serve as the primary internal and external technical expert for regulatory compliance matters.
  • Support factory audits, agency inquiries, customer compliance requests, and product documentation activities.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and product security teams on regulatory requirements impacting RF, EMC, and safety certifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on hardware regulatory compliance experience in wireless/networking products.
  • Strong expertise with IEEE 802.11 wireless technologies including 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be (Wi-Fi 7).
  • Deep understanding of worldwide RF certification requirements and approval processes.
  • Proven experience managing certifications for FCC, ISED, CE/RED, UKCA, ACMA, and Wi-Fi Alliance.
  • Strong understanding of Product Safety standards (UL/IEC), EMC compliance, RF exposure/SAR requirements, and environmental regulations including RoHS, REACH, PFAS, and California Proposition 65.
  • Experience working with external test laboratories and certification agencies such as UL, TÜV, SGS, Intertek, or equivalent.
  • Strong project management and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively across global teams and time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with regulatory approvals for India, Japan, Korea, and China.
  • Knowledge of emerging cybersecurity regulatory requirements impacting hardware compliance, including EU RED Cybersecurity Delegated Act and FCC cybersecurity requirements.
  • Experience with networking, firewall, SD-WAN, or enterprise wireless products.
  • Familiarity with modular approvals and end-product certification strategies.
  • Traditional Chinese language skills are a plus.
