The Sales Coordinator – Western Canada plays a pivotal role in facets of day-to-day solutions selling of Company products in the assigned branch or region. you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the sales department, assisting in managing customer orders, maintaining accurate records, coordinating communication between internal teams, and ensuring timely delivery of products. You will play a crucial role in helping the sales team meet their targets and ensuring excellent customer service.


This position is based out of a home office in Alberta with travel to client meetings, site visits, and industry events within Western Canada, possible travel to Eastern Canada.


Key Accountabilities:


Order Management & Fulfillment:
• Managing the Alberta Quotes Inbox, ensuring correspondence is directed to the appropriate team members and departments.
• Process and track orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring timely fulfillment and proactive communication with customers regarding potential delays.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution and compliance with company standards.
• Sales Support & Documentation:
• Prepare order confirmations, and other documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Armstrong's processes.
• Coordinating submittal, shop drawing, and IOM manual requests.
• Assist the sales team with presentations, reports, and CRM data entry to track sales progress.



Customer Relationship Management:
• Act as the main contact for customer inquiries and concerns, offering timely solutions and support throughout the sales cycle.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.
• Internal Collaboration & Coordination:
• Liaise with internal teams (production, logistics, finance) to ensure timely and cost-effective order fulfillment.
• Ensure products and materials are available for fulfillment, supporting seamless communication across teams.
Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking:
• Assist in compiling sales reports and tracking performance metrics to help the sales team meet targets.
• Provide insights from order data to identify opportunities for improvement and support forecasting.
Post-Sale Support & Problem Resolution:
• Address post-sale issues (returns, exchanges, complaints) in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with customer service and production teams to resolve service-related requests.



Process Improvement & Efficiency:
• Suggest and implement improvements to sales order processes to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to identify bottlenecks and streamline operations.
Data Management & CRM Maintenance:
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the CRM system to track sales and customer interactions.
• Regularly audit and update customer and order information for accuracy.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales support or administrative role, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sectors.



Technical Skills:
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with CRM systems and managing customer-related data and sales documentation.
• Basic understanding of sales processes, manufacturing operations, and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with inventory management and logistics coordination is an advantage.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate information to various stakeholders.
