Location: Remote
Job Type: Full-Time

We collect and process data using advanced methods and technologies to provide our clients with clear, actionable recommendations based on real metrics. SpinLab's goal is not just to collect data but to transform it into meaningful business insights that improve efficiency and help products grow.

This role requires close collaboration with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions.

Role Overview

This role requires close collaboration with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions. The vast majority of your work will be backend - building and owning production-ready services in a high-load distributed system, but you will also pick up the front-end work, a feature needs to ship end-to-end.

Our problem statement is not straightforward, as we aim to achieve high-end results in all important technical aspects of our business:

  • best availability,

  • lowest latency in every micro-service,

  • the most efficient resource usage.

If you're a product-passionate person, your mind is keen to solve deep tech engineering problems, you have a fast "PoC first" approach with a deep sense of ownership, and you're happy to reach into the UI when needed, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • Solid backend experience with Node.js/TypeScriptStrong understanding of Async approaches

  • Experience with Messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ

  • Experience in distributed systems

  • Experience with RDBMs (MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.), CDBMs (Redshift, ClickHouse, etc.), NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc)

  • Experience in writing e2e & unit tests

  • Experience with the development of production-ready solutions

  • Basic front-end ability: comfortable with HTML/CSS/JS, TypeScript, and common UI framework (React/Vue) — able to read existing UI code, make changes, and connect a UI to backend APIs

  • A "whole feature" mindset — willingness to own delivery end-to-end, including the UI, rather than handing it off

Would be beneficial to know:

  • Understanding of enterprise development patterns

  • Experienced with large-scale microservices architecture

  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, etc.)

  • Experience with Kubernetes

  • Active performance observation

  • Understanding of application security and industry standards, its best practices

  • A degree in Computer Science or related field

Scope of ownership:

  • Backend: high-RPS collection and identification endpoints, a Redis-backed key-value store, Kafka producers, ClickHouse migrations

  • Browser SDK: evolving signals and fighting regressions on Safari and iOS.

  • Operations: observability (APM, RED signals, SLO alerts), GitOps delivery via Helm and ArgoCD.

  • A "whole feature" mindset — willingness to own delivery end-to-end, including the UI, rather than handing it off

Benefits:

  • Work on meaningful data products and shape them with your vision.

  • 25 vacation days + 15 sick days + 1 birthday leave.

  • Budget for English classes.

  • Budget for health insurance.

  • Annual education & development budget.

  • Remote-friendly culture with a small, dedicated team.
