The Company

Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: To forever change how diabetes is managed. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started: Improving human health.

We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. Meet the team:

Dexcom Clinical Education Team Mission & Overview:

Imagine being the voice that turns cutting-edge science into stories that inspire action! As part of Dexcom’s Clinical Education Team, you’ll be the clinical, creative force who transforms breakthrough clinical evidence into powerful, memorable messages. You’ll help healthcare professionals (HCPs), customers, and colleagues see Dexcom CGM not just as a device, but as a game-changer in diabetes care.

  • Be a Messenger of Innovation: You’ll craft compelling narratives that make complex science accessible and exciting, helping everyone—from healthcare professionals to patients—understand why Dexcom CGM is the future of diabetes care
  • Make Real Impact: Your work will directly advance awareness and adoption of life-changing technology, improve the lives of people living with diabetes, and shape the standard of care.
  • Collaborate & Create: Work with passionate teammates, thought leaders, and industry partners to develop clinical programs and content that stand out and makes a difference.
  • Grow & Shine: Every day brings new opportunities to learn, lead, and leave your mark on the world of diabetes care.

If you’re ready to turn evidence into excitement and help drive the next wave of clinical innovation, this is the place for you.

Where you come in:

  • Step into a role where your expertise shapes the future of diabetes care across the nation! As a champion of clinical education, you’ll energize HCPs with the latest in diabetes treatment, medical device training, and CGM innovations. You’ll be one of the go-to leaders for Dexcom Speakers’ Bureau Members and national Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)—empowering them with the knowledge and tools to support people using CGM technology.
  • You will help define and operationalize what a high-performing Speaker Bureau looks like- across speaker selection, program execution, and measurable impact.
  • Your influence will directly extend to building and nurturing relationships with KOLs, driving advocacy and education programs, and collaborating to advance CGM adoption. You’ll work hand-in-hand with Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical, Compliance, Customer Support, Field Sales, PR, Medical Affairs, and industry partners—making teamwork and innovation part of your daily routine.
  • Picture yourself as a vital link between Dexcom’s San Diego Corporate office and field teams nationwide, ensuring everyone from clinicians to consumers has access to the best educational resources. You’ll help craft and deliver key clinical messages to a diverse audience: physicians, NP/PAs, PharmDs, CDCES, and more.
  • In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of expanding awareness, education, training, and adoption of CGM technology.
  • If you’re ready to make a nationwide impact, inspire change, and help shape the standard of care for diabetes, Dexcom is ready for you

Duties and Responsibilities:

KOL Engagement and HCP Educational Content:

As a Dexcom Clinical Education leader, you will build powerful partnerships and drive real change in diabetes care.

  • Be the Connector: Forge and expand relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and influential healthcare professionals nationwide. You’ll be the trusted partner who brings together thought leaders, the Dexcom Speakers Bureau, and our partners to amplify the impact of CGM education.
  • Expand Your Impact: Work hand-in-hand with internal and industry partners to support the execution and optimization of clinical education and market strategy, ensuring programs are aligned to business priorities and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner for Progress: Collaborate with advisory boards, facilitate training, and coordinate communication and performance enablement for KOLs and Speaker Bureau members. You’ll help shape peer-to-peer education programs and drive advocacy efforts, ensuring CGM becomes the standard of care for people living with diabetes or prediabetes.
  • Lead with Influence: Champion clinical education for HCPs by supporting product launches, training sessions, and clinical application workshops. Your leadership will energize teams and empower them to deliver the latest CGM insights.
  • Craft Compelling Content: Develop concise, evidence-based presentations and educational materials that make complex science clear and actionable for every audience—from physicians and nurses to pharmacists and diabetes educators.
  • Engage and Inspire: Confidently present at local, regional, and national programs, making every session memorable and meaningful. Your ability to translate research into engaging stories will strengthen Dexcom’s educational initiatives.

Cross-Functional Teamwork: Where Collaboration Drives Innovation

  • Be the Bridge: Work with both our external and internal partners- Medical/Clinical Affairs, Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, PR, and Sales & Marketing teams—creating a powerhouse of expertise to meet HCP needs with confidence. Your work will be fueled by deep product knowledge, clinical evidence, and real-world insights, ensuring every solution is both innovative and effective.
  • Educate from Within: Become a go-to resource for Dexcom’s internal teams, delivering clinical education on diabetes, management strategies, and therapies. You’ll empower colleagues with the latest knowledge, helping them stay ahead in a rapidly evolving field.
  • Lead the Charge: Provide clinical leadership and resources to the Dexcom Speakers’ Bureau and Field Sales and Training Teams, equipping them with everything they need—product training, clinical application, advocacy, and CGM interpretation—to champion CGM as the standard of care and drive organizational growth.

Program Development: Amplifying Impact Through Collaboration

While your main mission is to engage and empower HCPs and KOLs, you’ll also play a key role in shaping Dexcom’s educational programs and advocacy initiatives. Here’s how you’ll help drive innovation and expand CGM adoption:

  • Strategic Support: Partner with the Dexcom Speaker Bureau to shape education strategy and track and evaluate success through defined metrics (e.g., speaker utilization, program quality, engagement, ROI), using insights to continuously optimize strategy and execution.
  • KOL Training & Engagement: Assist with training, contracts, communications, and relationship-building for KOLs, making sure they’re equipped to champion CGM across the healthcare landscape. Assist with performance enablement ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment to strategy.
  • Peer-to-Peer Education: Contribute to best-in-class education programs that spotlight the latest clinical evidence and CGM innovations.
  • Compliance Collaboration: Work closely with our KOLs to guarantee all programs and materials are on-label and clinically approved, so every message is both accurate and effective.
  • Advocacy & Awareness: Develop and implement content and messaging that support marketing, sales, and education—helping CGM become the standard of care for people with diabetes or prediabetes nationwide.
  • Innovative Partnerships: Seek out new opportunities to collaborate with HCPs, diabetes societies, and educational institutions, driving initiatives that increase CGM awareness and adoption in every corner of the healthcare community.
  • Industry Collaboration: Support educational needs and work with industry partners to deliver compelling product education and clinical messaging, acting as a clinical resource for development teams.
