Hotel Cleaner

The Hotel Cleaner is responsible for the orderliness and cleaning throughout all areas of the property, including public areas, guest rooms & storage rooms, all the while living up to our Canalta Mission and Vision

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide assistance and courtesy as needed to guests and team members, reinforcing all of Canalta's policies and procedures

Make beds daily and change bed linen

Vacuum carpets, floors and upholstery

Clean bathrooms and supply with fresh towels and toiletries

Ensure that televisions, radios, lights and HVAC equipment are working

Check and restock tea, coffee, sugar, etc.

Restocking cart after every shift

Perform other duties as may be required by the general manager

Qualifications: (experience needed and education)

Minimum 2 years working in hotel as cleaner required

Must be able to perform physical tasks during a standard 8 hour shift

Salary: $18.50 / hour with a bonus to $19.50 / hour on weekends

Vacation: 2 weeks per year after first year worked

Benefits: Group insurance benefits including dental, health and vision. Long term disability.

Job Type: Full-time permanent, 32 hours per week
