The Opportunity Our client, a fast-growing retail insights and execution platform, is expanding into Italy. They specialise in providing real-time data, compliance tracking, and in-store execution solutions to leading brands and retailers.

They are looking for a Sales Manager Retail to establish and grow the business in Italy, working with key stakeholders in FMCG, Consumer Electronics, DIY, and other retail sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to lead expansion efforts, build partnerships, and drive revenue growth in one of Europe's most dynamic retail markets.

The Role The Sales Manager Retail will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing strategic partnerships with brands, retailers, category managers, and trade marketers.
  • Showcasing how the platform enhances in-store execution, sales performance, and compliance.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and driving sales growth in Italy.
  • Collaborating with international colleagues and local business development partners to accelerate market entry.
  • Representing the company at industry events and trade shows to increase brand awareness.

Ideal Candidate Profile The successful candidate will have: 

  • Proven sales experience in the retail, FMCG, or consumer electronics industry.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and drive business growth.
  • Fluency in English and Italian. 
  • A strong network in the Italian retail sector and a track record of closing deals with brands and retailers. 
  • The ability to identify client needs and present data-driven solutions effectively. 
  • A passion for innovation and retail technology.
