We're looking for a Lead Game Designer to own the design of Glow's systems, features, and live events, from meta progression and casual loop design to LiveOps events and competitive features. You'll set the design direction, shape how players experience the game every day, and lead a team of designers to execute that vision with precision and speed.

Glow is Crazy Labs' flagship fashion casual game, a mobile experience where millions of players style outfits, compete in PVP events, build social clubs, and climb progression ladders. The game blends fashion expression with deep casual LiveOps systems, and is actively growing with new features shipping every milestone. This is a high-visibility product with a passionate player base and a fast-moving, data-informed team behind it.

As a Lead Game Designer on Glow, you will: 

• Own the design of Glow's systems, features, and live events; from concept through live
• Lead and mentor a team of 2 - 4 game designers: set standards, review work, and grow the team's craft
• Manage the level designer; oversee level design direction and quality as part of your remit
• Drive design decisions with player data and KPIs; you form hypotheses, read results, and iterate fast
• Design and balance LiveOps events; limited-time content, seasonal events, and re-engagement flows
• Structure and contribute to the product roadmap; translate design priorities into a clear, sequenced plan
• Collaborate with the art team to ensure visual execution aligns with design intent
• Work closely with the economist on economy design and balancing; you don't need to be hands-on, but you need to understand the systems and drive decisions together
• Write clear, precise GDDs and design specs that the whole team can execute against
• Act as the design authority for Glow, that is, make the calls, own the outcomes, and flag risks early

Requirements

Lead Game Designer role requires: 

• 5+ years of Mobile F2P game design experience, with 2+ years in a lead or management role. Management experience is a must
• A portfolio of shipped mobile F2P games, experience on web or PC games does not substitute
• Deep expertise in casual game design: progression systems, engagement loops, feature and economy design
• LiveOps and events experience; designing, balancing, and shipping live events on a live game with a large active player base
• Proven ability to lead and manage other designers; you've set direction, given feedback, and helped people grow
• Strong analytical instincts, you are comfortable with dashboards, KPIs, retention and monetization data, and designing with metrics in mind
• Experience in structuring and contributing to a product roadmap
• Excellent written communication, your GDDs are clear, specific, and actionable
• Working knowledge of AI tools in a game design workflow

Nice to Have

• Experience with fashion, social, or PVP features in mobile games
• Familiarity with Unity, ability to navigate and work within the engine
