Job description

Role Overview:

We’re hiring a Global head of Product Management – Enterprise Solutions

You will shape the global enterprise backbone of Genus. You will lead the product strategy for our ERP, CRM and HR platforms, partnering with business process owners to improve how Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial and HR operate across 70+ countries.

In this role you'll be focused on performance and experience: reducing friction for users, improving process efficiency, strengthening governance and accelerating value realisation. You’ll also ensure our enterprise data is consistent and reliable, creating the foundation required for scaled analytics and AI-driven automation.

You’ll sit on the IT leadership team and have regular interaction with the Group CFO, divisional leadership and functional heads.

Why this role

  • Board-level agenda. Your portfolio sits directly under Genus’s strategic priorities – Finance, HR and core divisional growth

  • Global scope, manageable scale. Genus operates in 70+ countries but remains a company where one strong leader can still make a visible difference.

  • Purpose with substance. The work you lead will help a business that underpins food security and sustainability run better every day.

You Will:

What you’ll lead

In this post you will:

  • Set the product vision and roadmap for our enterprise solutions – ERP, CRM, HR and related platforms – and link every major investment to clear outcomes.

  • Work with Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, Procurement and HR leaders to shape global process templates and operating models, using the platforms to standardise where it matters and localise where it makes sense.

  • Lead cross-functional product teams (business SMEs, product managers, analysts, engineers, testers, change specialists) to deliver improvements end-to-end – from idea to stable, adopted live service.

  • Raise the digital employee experience: fewer systems to log into, simpler workflows, better guidance in the tools, and less re-keying between spreadsheets and core platforms.

  • Turn transactions into insight and AI-ready data – standardise processes and data models, improve data quality, and work with Data & Analytics and Architecture so enterprise platforms feed our unified data platform and future AI use cases.

  • Enable Genus’s strategic initiatives with simple, reliable processes and technologies that keep improving.

  • Simplify the application landscape – retiring legacy tools, reducing customisations and integrations, and improving resilience and supportability.

  • Define and track hard measures: process cycle times, error and exception rates, working capital, cost-to-serve, user adoption, system stability – and use them to guide the next wave of change.

  • Play a central role in portfolio and investment decisions, working hand-in-hand with Portfolio Management, Technology & Architecture, Cyber Security and IT Services & Operations.

Requirements:

You are in a senior product, applications or business systems leadership role today and you:

  • Have deep experience with enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM and HR systems (e.g. Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday) in a multi-country corporate.

  • Have led significant change in Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial and/or HR, with a story that goes beyond “we went live” to how process performance and user experience improved.

  • Think in terms of systems and outcomes: you connect process design, data, controls and technology, and you are comfortable using metrics to prioritise and to hold the line.

  • Bring a calm, structured approach – you enjoy turning a noisy backlog into a clear plan, sequencing work and helping teams focus.

  • Are confident in the boardroom as well as in workshops – you can translate business strategy into a roadmap, explain trade-offs, and keep stakeholders aligned even when decisions are tough.

  • Lead through inclusion and clarity: you listen well, you are transparent about constraints, and you create space for experts around you to do their best work.

Experience in manufacturing, life sciences or food/agri is helpful but not essential; the ability to drive enterprise-scale change and make platforms work for the business is.
