Design Manager

Paradise Architectural PANELS & STEEL is a leading provider of high-quality architectural panels and steel products. We specialize in the design, fabrication, and installation of custom architectural elements for commercial and residential projects.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to join our team. As the Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the design process, from concept development to final production. You will work closely with our clients, architects, and engineers to create innovative and functional designs that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of designers, including assigning tasks, providing guidance and feedback, and ensuring timely completion of projects

- Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and develop design concepts that align with their vision and budget

- Conduct site visits and review architectural plans to gather information and ensure accurate design development

- Create detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software

- Oversee the production of prototypes and samples to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications

- Manage the design review process and make necessary revisions to designs based on feedback

- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards

- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to source materials and products for projects

- Support the sales team by providing design expertise and participating in client meetings and presentations

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a design management role, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry

- Proficient in CAD software and other design tools

- Strong project management and leadership skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction processes
