Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $80,000.00- $100,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an end-of-year performance-based bonus.

Compensation is determined based on factors such as location, relevant experience, and qualifications. Candidates in higher cost-of-living areas or with exceptional expertise may fall above this range.

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant is a key member of Ivim Health’s Finance team, responsible for owning core general ledger functions with a heavy emphasis on inventory accounting, tax compliance and coordination, balance sheet integrity, and month-end close execution across multiple entities.

This role partners closely with the Controller and Assistant Controller to ensure accurate expense recognition, clean and well-supported balance sheet accounts (including inventory, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accruals), and timely, reliable financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will play an important role in strengthening accounting processes, supporting close execution, and maintaining strong controls as the organization continues to scale.

This position requires a highly experienced accountant who brings strong technical accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger & Month-End Close

• Prepare and post complex journal entries related to inventory, prepaid expenses, expense accruals, capitalizedsoftwareand fixed assets.
• Prepare reconciliations, roll-forwardsand other month-end financial reporting asrequired.
• Ensure accuracy,completenessand existence of inventory by partneringwith thelogisticsteam to review inventory stock levels, inventory movement, three-way match, and otherinventory related duties.
• Maintainaccurateinventory valuation using FIFO. Analyze turnover and provide insights on slow-moving or excess stock.

• Proactivelymonitorand analyze balance sheet accounts andincomestatement fluctuationsand ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Tax Compliance & Coordination

• Act as the primaryliaisonwith our tax consultantsto coordinatetimelytax payments and filings and track and resolvetax notices.  
• Log and resolve all tax notices receivedin a timely manner, keeping notices incredibly organized and resolving within a shorttimeframe.Resolve notices by makingphone callsordrafting letters with tax agencies and tax consultants.
• Own payroll tax compliance includingand not limited toreconciling Forms 941, 940, W2, W3
• Establish andmaintainonline tax accountsforfederal and state agencies.
• Assistwith the processing of quarterly tax payments onlineand ensurein housetax payments are made on time.
• Maintain organized tax records and documentation to support audits and advisor requests

Financial Reporting, Forecasting & Consolidations

• Compile monthly financial statements and packages for leadership review
• Identifyand resolve irregular balances, including the preparation of adjusting, reversing, or correcting entries. 

Process Improvement, Controls & Compliance

• Support the development, documentation, and refinement of accounting policies and procedures
• Serve as a key point of contact for auditors and tax partners, providing organized and repeatable support
• Identifyopportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and improve scalability as the organization grows
• Assistin leading several sections of the external audit

Qualifications:

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience withinacorporate accounting environment
• Experience in public accounting is preferred
• Strong experience owning general ledger accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets
• Significant hands-on experience with revenue accounting and reconciliation across multiple systems or entities
• Proven experience with inventory
• CPA designation preferred

Skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including working with large datasets, pivot tables, andadvanced formulas
• Experience writing and working with SQL or other data-query tools is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from financial data
• Comfortable learning andoptimizingaccounting systems, financial tools, and HRIS platforms
