CENTURION SERVICE GROUP – A TRIMEDX COMPANY

REMOTE ROLE - MUST LIVE WITHIN ASSIGNED MARKET (ADD MARKETS)

The Account Manager supports sales operations and project management efforts, working with hospitals that are already contracted to manage surplus equipment. Consistently travels to meet with clients; will require significant travel. The Account Manager maintains, develops, and expands customer relationships with hospitals to support and increase customer adoption and utilization of Centurion services. Each Account Manager will be assigned to cover a regional set of customer targets and will be measured based on the adoption of and compliance to Centurion services within their designated accounts.

Key duties include equipment sales, account development and management, client education and training, and attending client functions/shows (as allowed). This position is responsible for finding, sourcing and negotiating the cost of medical equipment, coordinating requests for information from the sales team, and publishing project status reports. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex matters in an efficient and accurate manner.

Responsibilities          

  • Maintain and develop relationships with hospitals that have existing Centurion contracts.

  • Achieve increased compliance of such facilities with their obligations to deliver consignment equipment to Centurion for sale via auction.

  • Conduct hospital visits to assess equipment inventories and assist in preparing for shipments of equipment to Centurion.

  • Provide excellent customer service, handling questions and requests from hospitals in the designated region.

  • Preparing and giving business reviews and presentations.

  • Confirm orders and fills online quote requests.

  • Grows territory through contacting prospective clients via phone calls, emails, and site visits.

  • Provide resources, manuals, user videos and other sources to help end users.

  • Tracks orders and warranty repairs.

  • Enters POs into the systems and presents customers a timeline to receipt on existing POs.

  • Assist with equipment service calls and requests as needed.

  • Process return requests and authorizations.

  • Receive and report on shipping issues and damage calls.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience

  • Medical device sales, preferably capital equipment (2+ years).

  • Dynamic and outgoing personality with strong sales and communication skills, with proven success at developing, nurturing, and managing business relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and internal department customers.

  • Ability to establish, maintain, and develop relationships.

  • Excellent computer skills; proficient using Microsoft Office suite and CRM tools.

  • Strategic and analytic thinker who can set priorities and manage time while managing multiple competing priorities with concurrent deadlines.

  • Strategically collaborates and effectively works with cross functional teams across the organization and the customers to obtain buy-in (e.g. Sales, Operations, Finance, Accounting, etc.).

  • Active listener and creative thinker who translates client needs into solutions and complex information into a customer-friendly format.

  • Knowledge of healthcare marketing, pricing, sales strategies, promotions and advertising strongly preferred.

  • Working knowledge of medical equipment and clinical engineering in hospitals preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organization and planning skills.

  • Experience in project management.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Acute attention to accuracy, quality, detail and thoroughness.     

Education and Qualifications

  • Sales, account management or business development degree or relevant experience in the healthcare field (1-4 years).

  • Minimum 1 year of account management experience, preferably with medical equipment.

  • Maintains customer service orientation by actively looking for ways to help external and internal customers.
