Role: AI Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 3 months
Pay Rate: $64 T4 and $75 INC.
Role Summary:
The selected candidate will build and deploy AI agents and workflow automations on a Microsoft-centric stack, focusing on delivering robust solutions quickly in a production environment.
Key Outcomes:
- Working AI agents and automations delivered regularly
- Seamless integrations into core tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Email, and Excel
- Solutions readily usable by business teams with minimal rework
Key Responsibilities:
- Build end-to-end solutions: data ingestion → retrieval → prompt logic → deployment
- Implement retrieval-based solutions (RAG) over enterprise data
- Automate workflows using Power Platform and Microsoft Graph
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise constraints (security, access, scale)
Required Capabilities:
• Python development for APIs (FastAPI), data pipelines, and automation
• Azure AI stack: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Copilot Studio (agent development)
• RAG patterns: enterprise search, indexing, SharePoint ingestion pipelines
• Microsoft integration: Graph API (SharePoint, Teams, Email, Excel) + Power Automate
• LLM/Agent patterns: prompt design, tool-calling, multi-step workflows
• Ability to deliver production-ready solutions—not prototypes
Preferred Capabilities:
- Vision AI / OCR: document extraction from PDFs, images, or engineering drawings
- Data & analytics: Databricks, SQL, Power BI, SAP data familiarity
- Basic DevOps: GitHub, CI/CD, API deployment
Top 3 Skills:
- AI Engineer with strong Python development for APIs (FastAPI), data pipelines, and automation
- Experience with Azure AI stack: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Copilot Studio (agent development)
- Proficiency in RAG patterns: enterprise search, indexing, SharePoint ingestion pipelines
