Job description

This is a remote position.

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Manual QA Tester with hands-on experience in testing mobile applications. You will be responsible for end-to-end functional, usability, localization, and UI testing across Android and iOS platforms. Your core focus will be to ensure the mobile app delivers a seamless and accurate experience users.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing on Android and iOS mobile applications.
Validate functionality, UI/UX, and usability of features.
Execute test cases and document results in test management tools.
Identify, log, and track bugs, inconsistencies, and UI discrepancies.
Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and raise quality concerns.
Conduct regression testing before release cycles.
Assist in preparing test data and test environments.
Participate in QA reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in manual testing, preferably in mobile app development.
Experience testing Android and iOS apps across different devices.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and defect lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with test case management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Ability to identify edge cases, usability issues, and UI inconsistencies.
Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
