IAM Security Engineer - Saviynt / SailPoint

About the Role

The IAM Senior Engineer will be responsible for the service design, build and document all key elements of the Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) infrastructure and services that are part of the overall identity security program.

It is incumbent upon the IAM Senior Engineer to ensure uniformity of services, adherence to standards, and consistency of infrastructure delivery. The Senior Engineer works with application teams and external partners to deliver quality services to Internal and External Customers.

The Senior IAM Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level Identity Governance and Administration solutions. This role ensures secure, compliant, and efficient access to IT resources across the organisation, leveraging platforms like Saviynt, SailPoint or Oracle Identity Manager.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in IAM/IGA with preferably 2 years hands-on with Saviynt.
• Strong scripting skills (Java, Beanshell, PowerShell, Python).
• Experience with identity lifecycle, access governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and SaaS integrations.
• Partner with IAM architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the IGA roadmap and strategy.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage deliverables across sprints.

What You'll Do:
IGA Platform Engineering

• Design and configure preferably Saviynt IGA modules including Identity Lifecycle Management, Access Request, Role Management, and Access Certification.
• Develop and maintain Saviynt connectors for target systems (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow).
• Customize Saviynt workflows, rules, and policies using Beanshell scripting and JSON.

Integration & Automation

• Integrate Saviynt with enterprise applications using JDBC, REST APIs, SCIM, and other protocols.
• Automate provisioning/deprovisioning processes and implement RBAC/ABAC models.
• Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to support CI/CD pipelines for IGA deployments.

Governance & Compliance

• Implement access certification campaigns and ensure alignment with SOX, PCI and GDPR requirements.
• Support audit and compliance reporting using Saviynt's analytics and dashboards.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and operational procedures.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with IAM architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
