Job description

Test Lead (Siemens Team Centre or PLM solution)
Remote
Contract -Long term

Experience Required:
  • +5 years' experience having managed global teams in the planning, preparation, and execution of end-to-end testing.
  • +2 years' experience having performed testing on Siemens Team-centre or like PLM solution

Skill & Attribute Requirements:
  • Ability to coalesce a team around a shared set of goals, define a plan to achieve them, and execute
  • Extended use of Test Management tools such as X-ray, ALM Quality Centre, Q-Test, etc.
  • Effective navigation within a constellation of personnel, including business analysts, technologists, PMs, change specialists, and executives.
  • Ability to analyze test progress, remaining progress, defect map, personnel capacity, and chart the most effective path forward.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills verbal and written.
  • Self-starter, organized, goal-driven, and works with integrity and humility.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide an overall single point of accountability for QA Test Management
  • Test Model Organization
  • Drive the implementation of an organized test model
  • Do so with reusability in mind, to support subsequent waves (Wave 3, 4, 5)
  • Verify comprehensiveness for the specified stage while not over/underlapping other stages
  • Operate leveraging Molex toolsets
  • Test Management Effectiveness
  • Ensure efficient use of test planning and execution resources
  • Organize test model execution sequence for effectiveness and efficiency
  • Adjust optimal path through execution progress based on actual progress and defect resolutions
  • Communicate progress to leadership using empirical values and dashboards
  • Drive the use of Molex toolsets
  • Defect Management
  • Support consistent defect documentation to support faster/ more accurate analysis and resolution
  • Communicate defect priorities to maximize test model throughput and objective completion
  • Optimize fix releases into the QA environment, managing for effectiveness (including decision points on Hot Fixes).
