Title: Senior Database Engineer (Postgres)
Location: 100% Remote (EST/ CST)
Type: Contract

Job Description:
  • Supporting EnterpriseDB PostgreSQL
  • Building and configuring PostgreSQL environments
  • Leading complex PostgreSQL datacenter migration projects
  • Supporting Postgres Enterprise Manager (PEM)
  • Using migration tools such as Ora2pg, Migration Portal, and/or Migration Toolkit • Backup / restore strategies and using such as Barman and pg_basebackup
  • High Availability strategies: streaming replication, WAL replication, EFM
  • Supporting Patroni clusters
  • Developing automation via shell scripting, Python, Ansible.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in an Agile team using Jira
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication, technical documentation, and interpersonal skills
