Job description

Job Description – PLM Engineer (Aras Innovator)
Location:Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced PLM Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Aras Innovator to support the configuration, customization, integration, and ongoing production support of enterprise PLM solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical and functional knowledge of PLM systems and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and customize Aras Innovator to meet business requirements
Design and maintain PLM data models, workflows, and lifecycle processes
Manage and optimize BOM (Bill of Materials) structures and change management processes (ECR/ECO)
Develop and maintain integrations between PLM and external systems such as ERP (SAP/Oracle) and CAD tools
Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams for solution design and delivery
Write and maintain technical documentation and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of overall PLM experience
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with Aras Innovator
Strong expertise in:
- Configuration and customization of Aras
- PLM data models and workflows
- BOM management and engineering change processes (ECR/ECO)
Technical proficiency in:
- C#
- .NET
- JavaScript
- SQL Server
Experience integrating PLM with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
